Christ Church Colne is a happy, safe, community Church, offering folk of all ages and backgrounds the opportunity to meet with, learn more about and worship God together. We have close links with Christ Church Church of England Primary school. Christ Church has a rich history celebrating traditional Church festivals and events as well as the privilege of sharing with many families in baptisms, weddings and funerals. Local people have strong connections to the Church often going back many generations.

We see ourselves as an integral part of the local community, which we seek to serve. Prior to coronavirus restrictions brownies and a craft group met weekly. We held a weekly baby and toddler group and a monthly lunch club. Messy Church, established in 2014 met during term time. Events such as beetle drives and choir festivals allowed us to have strong links with our local community.

We are proud of our Henry Willis organ and our Robert Thompson (the "Mouseman") woodwork but most of all we are proud of the loving and caring family that is our church.

We have a Community Hall which is much used by various church and secular groups.

Copies of the book '100 Years on Burnley Road' which tells the history of Holy Trinity, are available on request.

We offer a warm welcome to all ages as we worship God and serve the community.

St Bartholomew's Church has been serving the people of Pendle for almost 900 years and continues to play a valuable role in the community of Colne and Villages. An Anglican Church, we share a united benefice with Holy Trinity Church, Colne.

We have a friendly, inclusive, all-age congregation, seeking to worship and to serve God, through his Son Jesus Christ, in the power of his Holy Spirit.

The church is open every day from 10am until 12 Noon, when visitors can experience the quiet of the ancient church, with its interesting history and architecture, or spend time relaxing with a coffee and talking with other visitors and church members.

We hope that you will find a warm and hospitable welcome when you visit St Bartholomew's!
